Dr. Punyapriya Gopal is a physician by training and an evidence-informed integrative practitioner with extensive experience supporting oncology and palliative care patients. Over three decades in healthcare, she has partnered with medical teams across multiple specialties to help individuals navigate illness, stress, trauma, and major life transitions with clarity and resilience.

 

Her clinical foundation in Radiation Oncology, combined with hospital-based integrative medicine work and experience in EMDR, informs a balanced, patient-centered approach that integrates supportive mind–body techniques within established medical environments.

 

Dr. Gopal is the founder of Comprehensive Reiki Solutions LLC and serves as Reiki Program Coordinator at Hartford Hospital, home to one of the nation’s longest-running hospital-based Reiki programs. In this role, she collaborates across departments to provide individualized sessions that support physical comfort, emotional regulation, and stress reduction for patients in oncology, ICU, psychiatry, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care.

 

Her work emphasizes meaningful self-regulation, resilience building, and trauma-informed support—not quick fixes or surface-level relief. She integrates Reiki with evidence-informed mind–body strategies to create a supportive environment for physical ease, emotional steadiness, and recovery-oriented coping.

 

Dr. Gopal teaches all levels of Reiki, offering a structured, research-informed curriculum designed for both personal development and professional application in healthcare and community settings.
